Middle management is where the real work of influence happens. This series helps leaders navigate the unique challenges of being “in the middle”—leading their teams while aligning with senior leaders and collaborating across functions.
Participants develop practical strategies for leading down, up, and across. They’ll build trust and accountability with their teams, communicate front-line insights with confidence, and strengthen cross-functional partnerships to break down silos and drive collective results.
4-week course | October 20 & 27, November 3 & 10 | 9:00–11:30 a.m.
This foundational series helps leaders build self-awareness as the foundation for authentic leadership. Participants clarify their leadership purpose, identify the values that guide their decisions, and develop a confident mindset to lead with greater clarity and integrity.
Leaders also explore a servant leadership approach to build trust, strengthen engagement, and create a culture where people and performance thrive together.
2-week course | October 1 & 8 | 9:00-11:30 a.m.
People don't just want a job. They want progress. When leaders invest in someone's growth, people stay, engage, and rise to more. Yet most development conversations happen once a year at review time, if at all. Development isn't only about the next promotion. It's the everyday conversations that help people discover what they do best, what drains them, what they want to learn, and why it matters to them.
This session works differently from a typical workshop. There's no set curriculum to sit through. Leader Momentum founder Michelle Mei, who has spent nearly two decades guiding companies and their people through role alignment, career development, and succession, will work through your real situations live, alongside a small room of leaders facing the same questions.
What to expect:
Why people stay engaged when they know you're invested in their growth
Four conversations to have with everyone you lead: their strengths, their energy drains, their interests, and their motivation
Bring your real situations, and work through what to say and what to ask, live with Michelle
Leave with a plan for one development conversation you're ready to have
Optional: send your situation ahead of time when you register, so we can make the most of our time together.
